Options For Bug Repellent Spray When Spending Time Outdoors
Bug repellent spray is usually a must during summer months spent outdoors, especially in the evening when all the mosquitoes come out.
There are lots of different insect repellent spray products out there but in many cases you can avoid having to use any spray at all. This is a much healthier option to spewing a mist of chemicals on your skin; however, there is naturally a greater risk of being bitten.
Bug repellent spray usually has an odor that bugs tend to avoid, or its purpose it to mask the smell that our bodies release to which insects are attracted. Another odor that most insects like is that of chemicals contained in perfumes and colognes.
Therefore, if you’re going outside where there are lots of bugs, without any insect pest spray, then you should avoid using perfumes or colognes.
Bug repellent spray is necessary to feel more relaxed when spending time outside in nature, but it is not always 100 percent required.
By choosing carefully what you wear, avoiding the use of perfumes and colognes, spending more time indoors in the evening, and checking yourself regularly for insects, you can avoid the need of wearing a bug repellent. This may be a better choice for some people than wearing some form of insect repellent lotion or spray.
