Fresh Herbs On Demand From Your Window Herb Garden
If you have a window sill on your kitchen window, then it may be a good idea to have a window herb garden, especially if you love cooking with fresh herbs. It is so easy to transform a tasteless meal into a delicious meal, just by adding fresh herbs.
If you have mild conditions and a sunny location near your window, you can grow your herbs all year round. Some of the herbs you can grow in your window herb garden include parsley, rosemary, sage, mint and basil. Adding basil to any meal, improves the aroma of your meal.
You can grow these herbs in your garden over summer and then continue to grow them over winter in your window garden. It is easy to take cuttings from your favourite garden herb plant and root it with rooting powder in your window herb garden.
Basil may take a bit of effort to grow this way, but you should place a number of cuttings, and hopefully one or two will take hold and grow in your window herb garden.
